TCM are a local Taranaki business dedicated to providing Construction and Maintenance services in all trades, both residential and commercial. Our highly skilled, professional and friendly staff operate with accurate coordination to simplify the process for customers. We are the one stop construction and maintenance shop, with one phone call covering all trades.

TCM was established in 2006 after Gary from his career as a Loss Adjustor in the Insurance Industry. At the time there was a boom in new house builds and as a result Gary found that he couldn’t find available contractors to carry out smaller scale alteration and repair work, thus birthing the idea of TCM; a concept for a business that will tap into a gap in the market by covering all construction and maintenance trades regardless of the size of the job. Gary had previously worked with Ian Johnston (TCM LTD Foreman) and put the concept to Ian to start our own business covering all trades. Ian saw the potential in this idea and joined the small team. We began our journey by sub contracting and coordinating the trades where there was available work until be built up our own staff of highly skilled tradespeople; a team now 25 strong. Gary’s wife Jane joined the management team after 10 years experience in the Banking Industry. Initially Jane ran TCM’s books after hours while working at another full time role. Once the work load become sufficient, Jane joined the TCM staff permanently as the Office Manager.
